10. Evaluate Your Progress
Expect that you will experience rejection. However, after a certain point, you may want to redirect your energies to your next city of choice. Be realistic and positive. Be sure you follow-up with thank you letters to everyone you interviewed with or who provided any career advice or assistance. Since failure to plan is planning to fail, having a game plan and a back-up plan is a smart idea for the challenges of the long distance job search.
