Guaranteed Resumes
Here's a continuation of last week's tips about scannable resumes.
Your scannable resume should be printed on plain white paper and sent
together with your traditional stationery resumes. It should contain a
section of keywords, which are the nouns that best describe your skills and
experience; try to shoot for between 10 and 30 keywords.
When designing your scannable resume, avoid the following: italics, bold
fonts, underlining and bullet points. Use a sans serif font to print it; I
recommend Arial. Finally, make sure your name and address are at the top of
every page.
