This position is responsible for all general accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets and production and inventory costing. This position has overall responsibility for the monthly financial close process and manages a senior cost accountant, two senior staff accountants and the accounts payable group, which consists of a supervisor and two clerical support staff.

Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
- Hands-on use of ERP system - Oracle experience a plus.
- Strong computer skills using Excel and Word.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- 7 - 10 years relevant experience, including managerial experience, preferably including chemical industry experience.
- Production and inventory costing experience preferred.
- ERP system experience, Oracle preferred.
