JOB SUMMARY:
Technical leadership of electrical engineering strategies and the electrical architecture, design and development of customer products. Develop complex designs of RF systems and components. Verify completed work, check tolerances, component selection, and systems requirements. Evaluate quality measurements on electronic designs, assist with assembly process and verification of prototypes. Participate in the development of advanced and new technologies related to products, assemblies, PCBs, components, processes, methods and tools. Provide technical and project level leadership for product and test development. Can be based at Rochester area or Twin Cities site.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
-4 year Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred
-10+ years experience designing and developing RF electronics and software for wireless communications systems in a relevant industry
-Advanced knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit simulation software, specifically 3D field modeling software.
-Master of advanced RF technology integration and applications
-Strong understanding of wireless communication protocol and systems architecture
-Advanced expertise and mentorship in RF system design
-Ability to travel 20% including overnight
-Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
