Compensation & HRIS Analyst

Overview:
Ensures the competitiveness of the company's compensation program by selecting and participating in salary surveys. Benchmarks positions, analyzes and evaluates survey data. Maintains salary structures. Conducts analysis to ensure internal pay equity and external competitiveness. Reviews pay practices and consults with management regarding compensation issues.

Responsible for managing the integrity of organization management and compensation data in the HRIS (SAP HCM).

Evaluates new positions using established evaluation system and determines pay grade and bonus targets.

Streamlines compensation processes by analyzing business needs, benchmarking best practices, developing and documenting procedures, recommending changes to current compensation processes, procedures, & systems.

Ensures compliance with state, local and federal laws and regulations, company policies and procedures by adhering to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations; advising management on needed actions. Review of state/federal regulations and laws affecting wage & labor issues, awareness of compensation trends and new developments and the assessment of the impact of these issues on current and future compensation plans.

Support the company's annual compensation planning process by evaluating market data, developing cost models, and preparing other reports and analysis used to make recommendations for management. Assists in the administration of merit and bonus programs.



Responsibilities:
  • Provides day-to-day compensation support to the business; assists managers in development of job descriptions; evaluates new positions for pay grade and bonus targets.
  • Acts as HRIS Super User. Responsible for maintaining and managing the integrity of data within the HRIS. Provides support for HRIS upgrades and modifications; conducts testing and completes user updates. Ensures accuracy of data and data integrity through regular audits and analysis of data integrity issues; identifies areas to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Documents all HRIS processes.
  • Compile and analyze data to support HR strategic initiatives. Analyze and monitor HR related metrics. Provides reports to end-users.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prefer minimum five years experience.
  • Requires advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
  • Experience using SAP HCM preferred.
  • World at Work CCP or CEBS Compensation Certification
