Structural Engineer 2 - Houston, TX

Department: Upstream Engineering & Design

- Perform structural design of subsea structures (plems, plets and manifold) and fixed offshore platforms.

- Mentor and perform quality assurance checking of junior structural engineers.

- Work and communicate with other disciplines (pipeline, mechanical, process, project services, construction).

- MUST have motion analysis and hydrodynamic wave loading experience.

- MUST have offshore structural FEA experience.- BS in civil/structural engineering (MS is preferred) with a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience in the Upstream oil and gas industry.

- Proficient with structural engineering software such as SACS or StruCAD.

- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

- Registered professional engineer is preferred.

- Project is Cameron/BP GOM frame agreement structural design. It was orginally to install 2-5 PLET's and has grown to over 20.
