Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk works under the direction of the Accounts Payable Supervisor. He/she is responsible for data that accounts for purchases, expenses, and payments. The Accounts Payable Clerk maintains this information on record which may be reflected in the general ledger and financial reports. He/she manages assigned vendors and ensures payment processes for the organization. These
services further the mission of Enloe Medical Center, which is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Six months direct experience as a hospital Accounting Clerk or One year Accounts Payable experience desired: Clerical hospital experience SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Knowledge of bookkeeping, payables, computer, disbursements, purchasing and general ledger.
