Perform security engineering tasks for a large contract that requires large scale hardware and software Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) integration with some developed software to provide workstations and associated servers and networks to perform image processing for image analysts and geospatial analysts.
Specifically, you will be a player to architect and design the security system
responsible for:
Planning, organizing, and participating in program wide security functions;
Researching and analyzing security issues;
Security concerning development of organizational and technical infrastructure, policies, standards, procedures, security baselines, risk assessments, user awareness, training and compliance;
Ensuring the project is compliant with our customer’s standards and vulnerability releases;
Assessing site security findings, generating corrective action plans and assisting site security administrators with corrective actions;
Troubleshooting the system and direct contact with the customer;
Performing vulnerability assessment scans at various locations;
Supporting certification and accreditation tasks within Information Assurance program;
Supporting Security Engineering presentations/briefings and document development;
Preparing architectural and design change requests to modify the baseline that require differing levels of board approvals, and Supporting the Change Request/Discrepancy Report/ and CA process.
Certifications: CISSP or working towards it.
Candidate must be willing to travel (local, domestic and international.) Weekend and shift work occasionally.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
