New York Life's Summer Internship Program is a structured 12-week program starting in late May and ending in August. It will provide the intern with:

  • Challenging assignments with practical, on-the job experience
  • Professional development in the form of workshops and seminars
  • Teamwork projects with other interns
  • Coaching and Mentoring
  • A chance to explore future career opportunities with New York Life

A technology intern's responsibilities are dependent on placement, and may include assisting with:
  • Coordination and documentation of the configuration and deployment of PC hardware throughout the NYL environment
  • Working directly with customers to identify changes needed for applications
  • Developing templates, workflow documents, reports and other types of documentation
  • Defining business function requirements and creating test databases and files
  • Coding (dependent on intern’s programming knowledge)
  • Working with project manager to help document meeting minutes, review project plans, etc.

Multiple Internship locations: NYC, Lebanon NJ, Sleepy Hollow NY
