Position Description | Human Resources Information Technology leader responsible for building and leading the HR Systems team. Responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise HR systems vision and strategies ensuring that it is aligned with both IT and HR objectives. Responsible for the development, maintenance, reliability, availability and integrity of HR Systems products and services across the enterprise. Develops and maintains outstanding relationships with all HR business partners. Engaging with the Boeing HR Leadership Team in defining and implementing integrated processes and systems. Responsible to identify and develop the next generation HR tools to drive workforce productivity and support HR strategies. Defines a set of strategic applications, developing a deployment roadmap, reducing variation, number of applications and complexity of our business processes and systems. Develops and leads the Global HR Systems governance process to ensure IT work is aligned with business value and priorities. Assesses and delivers more off-the-shelf capability by working with business partners to streamline and create more common processes. Ensures investments provide value, moves Boeing forward and speeds the adoption of the common enterprise-wide HR systems architecture, processes and tools. Ensures the successful implementation of enterprise HR system projects meeting cost, schedule and quality objectives. Deploys and ensures compliance within enterprise HR Systems for standard and effective IT processes, methods, tools and best practices for all IT functions including Information Protection & Assurance, Computing & Network Operations, Architecture & Information Management and Systems Quality & Compliance. Ensures compliance to regulatory controls both domestic and international including Sarbanes Oxley and protection of personally identifiable information (PII) across the enterprise. Leads Lean+/Kaizen efforts for HR Systems - leaning out HR Systems process to drive efficiency within HR Systems to allow for redeployment of resources to new development/business value projects. Develops and executes plan to have at least 50% of HR Systems budget on new development and maximum 50% on enhancements/production support legacy systems. Develops and executes plan to achieve maximum of 50 HR Systems (today at 150 systems). Ensure optimal support to the customers by managing costs, ensuring benefits realization, communication and integration across functions. Ensure reliable and repeatable operation of Timekeeping and Payroll processing and critical online HR services deployed across the Boeing enterprise. Responsible to lead HR systems benchmarking to assess and discover best in world HR tools/technologies that large companies use. Leads and models behavior of acting as a user 'in the day in the life' and develop plans for all employees to do this. Proactive leader that motivates team to deliver greatness and develops the HR system leaders and employees through leveraging company-wide and Boeing IT processes, tools and programs. | ||
