A Global Financial Institution located in BALTIMORE, MD has an immediate consulting opportunity for a Bus Systems Consultant Senior.
Competencies Required:
? Experience developing low, mid, and high fidelity prototypes
? Extensive experience using Microsoft Visio, Photoshop and other MS Office Products
? Thorough understanding of how to prepare and facilitate different UCD methodologies, including heuristic evaluations, focus groups, contextual inquiries, listening labs, task analysis and usability testing
? Experience in preparing facilitating and analysis in benchmarking applications
? Strong cross team communication/Team-player
? Capability to perform in a high pressure environment
? Ability to research and define user requirements
? Strong knowledge of user interaction models, information architecture, navigation models, tasks/flows/workflows and overall UI components
? Experience developing User Interface Specifications for hand-off to either Onshore or Offshore development teams
? Extensive experience developing wireframes
? Ability to develop and enforce Guidelines & Standards amongst different groups
? Ability to make strong recommendations based on usability data /research, business needs and technical feasibility/difficulty
BS or BA in Interface and Information Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Graphic Design, HCI, Industrial Design, or equivalent level of proven experience
? Knowledge/experience using iRise , Axure RP Pro 4, or similar rapid prototyping tools
? Knowledge/experience using IMB Rational suite of products is desired
? Some understanding of the technical limitations and advantages of: HTML, JavaScript, DHTML and CSS
? Understanding of Web Concepts
? Familiarity with implementing W3C and section 508 standards
? Familiarity with content management systems
? Ability to establish UCD timelines/select appropriate techniques to meet timelines
? Good understanding of Visual Design Patterns and concepts
Scope of Work:
The HFE Business Analyst is responsible for the development of specifications and designs for web/application interfaces, and includes close collaboration with internal business partners, QA teams, Development teams, Project Managers and Architecture teams. In addition, product designs will be validated via user-centered methods including usability testing and field research. The ability to manage multiple projects is required. The HFE Business Analyst will be involved in larger cross-team design and research projects that will impact the product strategy and future direction as well as initiatives to continuously improve our design and research processes, tools and the user-centered culture in the broader organization. The HFE Business Analyst must have a history of participation in iterative application development efforts, the change control process, software engineering practices, UML and RUP based methodologies. The HFE Business Analyst must have broad knowledge of the interactions of the overall IT organization and is considered a subject matter expert in one or more functional areas within a discipline.
Years of Experience: 7-10 Years
Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree
