Introduction ? Temporary Accounting Technician needed to support Accounts Receivable Accountants in Fiscal Service for approximately 6-12 months. 2. Skills Required ? Knowledge and ability to process refunds and accounts receivables in an automated accounting system. Knowledge of accounting procedures, allotments, obligations, and disbursements and the ability to analyze the interrelationship of accounts affected by various transactions. Knowledge of a variety of procurement transactions and documents, accounting symbolic codes, account structures, and procedures in order to create and liquidate fiscal documents. Knowledge of procedures used to enter, modify, retrieve, and delete information in an automated general ledger system. The ability to analyze numerous accounts and determine the need for and the type of adjustments necessary to reconcile and balance accounts Training provided by Fiscal Service. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
