Controls Team Lead / Lead Cost Engineer

We currently seek a high caliber Controls Team Lead/Cost Engineer to work on a contract. Based in Roxana, IL, you will be working for one of the world?s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals sector.
Job Description:
? Familiar with Scheduling/Cost terminology & basic concepts
? Interpret procedures for a project scheduling/cost program
? Understands the principles of a Work Breakdown Structure
? Collect Data, input updates and produce basic cost management reports
? Requires accuracy in gathering data. Maintains orderly records to ensure integrity of the system.
? Analyzes variances in cost performance against the plan, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to CTL
? Responsible for understanding the entire Code of Conduct and complying with its requirements
? Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
? BS in Engineering or equivalent
? Experience of working for an EPC company on oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects
? Knowledge of automated cost management systems and Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SAP software packages and FDCost
? Familiarity with construction and maintenance environments
? Maintains working knowledge of the functionality of automated cost management systems
