*USA Citizen ONLY* DESCRIPTION- For IT organization in Medical Products business in Arizona; The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of analytical and reporting solutions and will have a deep understanding of our reporting environments and reporting tools to help meet business needs. This associate will engage in various customer-facing tasks, such as requirements gathering and must be able to provide effective reporting solutions for presented issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include- - Solving issues utilizing their knowledge of PL/SQL, creating queries, stored procedures and extracting information using SQL language; - Modifying and/or adding reporting environments in timely delivery; - Gathering and assessing the needs of business stakeholders and understand how to align report development accordingly; - Participating in projects as a team member and work independently; - Providing regular communications with technical and non-technical groups; - Following standards, software development processes and best practices to accomplish tasks; - Executing regularly scheduled tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; - Providing daily support for existing reporting environments. QUALIFICATIONS- ( - USA Citizen ONLY; - Bachelors degree in a computer-related discipline and a minimum of 3 years in the IT field; -OR- a High School Diploma and a minimum of 7 years in the IT field; - 3-5 years experience writing Oracle Reports and/or Oracle Discover; - 3-5 years working with relational database modeling; - Strong knowledge and experience with PL/SQL, views and stored procedures; - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely; - Experience working with business groups to determine reporting/ analysis requirements; - Excellent IT troubleshooting skills; - Must be self-motivated. PREFERRED SKILLS- - Working knowledge of TOAD; - Working knowledge of source control tools such as SVN; - Working knowledge of Software Quality Assurance requirements in an FDA regulated environment preferred; - Cognos knowledge in the following products: ReportStudio, ReportNet, PowerPlay, AnalysisStudio.
