I. Location Winston-Salem, NC II. Expected Pay $20 to $25/hr (depending on experience) Paid weekly (Thursday)by direct deposit Overtime as necessary (time and ?) III. Duration Six months (thru March 31st 2009) After the contract period, a permanent position may be offered, the contract could be extended, or the contract could be terminated. VI. Job Description/Skills: a) Maintenance and repair of CNC machining centers. This includes troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components. Typically this would be electric motors, ball screws, spindle heads, gearboxes, hydraulic components (pumps, cylinders, motors, hoses, etc), pneumatic components, process control units, and feedback devices. The technician will have to be able to disconnect the machining center?s electrical and hydraulic power sources, troubleshoot the problem, and make the necessary repairs. b) Also, typical preventive maintenance on CNC machining centers (lubricating, swapping bearings, etc) VII. Job Requirements a) Proven electro-mechanical maintenance and repair experience on CNC machining centers b) Toolbox with basic maintenance tools c) The technicain must pass a drug test and a criminal background check d) Good safety record e) Positive work ethic and reliable attendance record f) No health issues that would prevent the technician from lifting repair parts, bearings, shafts, etc. Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance of Industrial Machines. Some experience with CNC machines a plus. Must have own tools and be able to pass Drug Test and Background check.
