PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER SC 2-08 Company: Personnel Source Location: Roseburg, Oregon 97470 Employment Type: Full-Time ________________________________________ Job Description Position Title: Primary Care Provider Supervision: The Primary Care Provider reports directly to tribal health director for administrative direction and to the Medical Director regarding medical care. Qualifications: Unrestricted Oregon Medical License. Medical degree ( or ) from an accredited medical/osteopathic school. Interest in working with Native American/Alaskan native population. Special training/experience in general medicine. At least five years experience in a clinical setting and/or appropriated residency program. Ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities. Duties and Responsibilities: The Primary Care Provider?s responsibilities shall be inclusive but not limited to the following: - Develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate clinical programs as requested. - Provide primary health care services to all eligible clinic users; including Tribal Members, qualified non-tribal natives, and eligible insured enrollees. - Provide referrals to outside providers when appropriate. - Consult with contract health service in matters of case management, billing and quality assurance and to aid the resource committee. - Consult with insurance personnel in matters of quality assurance, billing, physician referral and other matters as they arise.
