Manpower Professional is currently looking for an Environmental Test Engineer. This contract opportunity is located in Albuquerque, NM at a company that is a leading provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems & service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, business & general aviation, military space & airport operations. Due to the nature of our customer's business, all candidates must be citizens. Will perform climatic and dynamic environmental testing of systems, primarily to MIL-STD-810. Prepare test plans, procedures, proposal efforts. Calibrate, maintain and repair test facilities. Direct engineers and techs in programming & conducting climatic and dynamic testing. Design vibration and shock fixturing. Develop test capabilities within the environmental test lab. Estimate needs and schedule work to meet dates and technical specs. Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates advanced testing assignments usually associated with research, design, and development. Job Title: Environmental Test Engineer Primary Skills: BSME or Engineering Technology. Hardware oriented. Demonstrated ability to work with shakers, chambers, controllers, data acquisition and vibration equipment. Confident application of mechanical test and analysis principles in the development of concepts and designs. Develop product specifications and statements of work. Understanding of program generated schedules, budgets and basis of estimates. Knowledge of HALT/HASS methodology a plus.
