The Contract Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a contract management software system including, without limitation, the preparation of contract ticklers and serve as the interface between the Legal department and other departments regarding the new contract standard operating procedure (SOP). This position will coordinate processes for contract approval and administration in coordination with the Finance department.

| Responsibilities: |
Serve as the primary interface between the Legal department and other departments regarding new contract SOP for contract approval and administration in coordination with Finance departmentEnsure compliance with internal submission procedures and policiesMaintain and enter data into department databaseMaintain the accuracy and consistency of contract informationResponsible for updating both internal and external parties as to the current status of contracts and expectations of completionRoute contracts for signature, track the progress and distribution of executed contractsManage all contract filing including set up, maintenance, retrieval and copyingMonitor and facilitate the progress of contracts through the contract process and all phases through contract completionGenerate various reportsParticipate in special projects as needed

| Qualifications: |
| Experience (2-4 years) in a directly related position in a corporate and/or legal environmentExperience must include knowledge of contract management and automated contract management softwareAssociate's degree is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of contracts and legal terms Required Non-Technical Competencies: Ability to communicate well with all levels of managementMust be able to work effectively under strict deadlines and with little supervisionMust a be a self-starter - have a high degree of personal initiative; able to work independentlyMust possess efficient analytical skillsQualified candidate should possess excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to pay strict attention to detail, work well under pressure and work well as a team memberAA/EEO Employer
