Overview:
The Contract Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a contract management software system including, without limitation, the preparation of contract ticklers and serve as the interface between the Legal department and other departments regarding the new contract standard operating procedure (SOP). This position will coordinate processes for contract approval and administration in coordination with the Finance department.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary interface between the Legal department and other departments regarding new contract SOP for contract approval and administration in coordination with Finance department
  • Ensure compliance with internal submission procedures and policies
  • Maintain and enter data into department database
  • Maintain the accuracy and consistency of contract information
  • Responsible for updating both internal and external parties as to the current status of contracts and expectations of completion
  • Route contracts for signature, track the progress and distribution of executed contracts
  • Manage all contract filing including set up, maintenance, retrieval and copying
  • Monitor and facilitate the progress of contracts through the contract process and all phases through contract completion
  • Generate various reports
  • Participate in special projects as needed


  • Qualifications:
  • Experience (2-4 years) in a directly related position in a corporate and/or legal environment
  • Experience must include knowledge of contract management and automated contract management software
  • Associate's degree is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contracts and legal terms
  • Required Non-Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of management
  • Must be able to work effectively under strict deadlines and with little supervision
  • Must a be a self-starter - have a high degree of personal initiative; able to work independently
  • Must possess efficient analytical skills
  • Qualified candidate should possess excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to pay strict attention to detail, work well under pressure and work well as a team member
