Elicits requirements from business and customer vision for products and applications. - Elaborates on business vision to create high-level business requirements. Translates and reconciles high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements. Validates and reconciles functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders and subject matter experts. Analyzes customer business processes, system interactions, and data requirements. requirements in compliance with all phases of the software development lifecycle. Performs current state analysis, gap analysis, risk assessment, and other related tasks as directed. Develops use cases, functional requirements, data requirements and other requirements artifacts as directed. - Delivers all applicable artifacts as directed. Acts as a liaison between designated business units and IT/technology, and communicates requirements, analysis, proposals, timelines, and options. Analyzes and documents current and future processes and data flows. Establishes and develops productive working relationships with technical development teams, creative teams, product managers, project managers, creative managers, editors, information architects, market managers, and other staff. Consults with Software Development team and Testing team to validate that designs comply with requirements. Consults on architectural designs and implementation issues, functional problems, and projects or processes related challenges. Coordinates work effort through designated project managers to create project artifacts. Acquires, develops, and maintains knowledge of relevant business functions and supporting business applications and supporting architecture. Education/Experience: Bachelor?s degree in information technology, with an emphasis validating and reconciling the functional and non-functional requirements, or the equivalent combination of related training, proficiency and experience practical knowledge and experience in the airline industry. Knowledge, Skills, & proficiency in conducting customer and stakeholder interviews to elicit system analysis and documentation of system processes, proficiency in validating and reconciling the management of functional requirements. proficiency in developing and completing IT projects using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) process, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Raven or equivalent scheduling tools, methodologies, and strategies
