Technical Scheduling Analyst/Representative is a primary point of contact providing timely and accurate responses to customer questions and resolving complex issues for Shippers and Operators related to volume allocation, imbalances, and invoicing. This requires knowledge of pipeline tariffs, policies and procedures, details of transportation and storage services offered, and reports available to customers. It also involves building an understanding of how our systems work and how they can be improved. Responds to customer questions and/or issues related to allocation, imbalances, and invoicing, represents external customer interests inside the Company within established guidelines, being an advocate for the customer representing customer concern, positions, and needs and/or wants appropriately so action can be taken to address the situation accordingly, positively conveys the company's positions and supports decisions made to both internal and external customers, trains customers regarding transportation service details and information available to customers, looks for ways to improve processes and gain efficiencies, builds and maintains strong relationships with other sections within the department, Rates, Regulatory Affairs, Facilities Planning, Gas Control, and Marketing Departments, supports each accordingly relative to their functions and requirements, and submits formal requests for software changes to facilitate all of the listed duties. ?Understanding of NAESB Flowing Gas standards and of each pipeline's tariff related to allocations, imbalance management, and invoicing; working knowledge of Nominations and Scheduling and measurement. ?An eye for continuous process improvement (Kaizen) and dramatic process improvements (Six Sigma methodology). Excel and Project as a communication tool, rather than a data management tool, is especially important.
