Job Description- Agency Deployment Analyst (7 positions) Agency Deployment Analysts for the Financial Management System Project will report directly to the FMS/3 Agency Deployment Support (FADS) Team Lead. All analysts will work closely with staff from City agencies, City-affiliated entities, and some non-City agencies, to facilitate and ensure readiness for FMS/3 according to the City's needs and expectations. Position Roles and Responsibilities "Communicate readiness requirements and system functionality enhancements to agencies. "Serve as a liaison between the FMS/3 project and City agencies, always promoting a positive message about system enhancements and facilitating the transition from FMS/2 to FMS/3. "Informing the Team Lead about agency concerns and issues and how they should be addressed. "Plan, track, and report status of agency readiness for the deployment of accounting, budgeting, and procurement functionalities. "Work extensively with agency primary contacts to provide overall assistance to agencies in areas such as agency readiness planning, issue resolution, and communicating system functionality enhancements. "Provide post-deployment support, including assisting the Call Center with answering, logging, and following up on calls. "Conduct user testing and training as needed. "Perform administrative tasks as needed. NOTE: Occasional travel to agencies within the 5 NYC boroughs is required during business hours. Required Skills and Abilities "Superb written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate IT/financial systems functionality into simple yet effective communications for end users. "Experience conducting presentations for audiences of at least 100 people. "Ability to coordinate activities from end-to-end with periodic guidance and input from management and/or teammates. "Ability to multitask, prioritize, and quickly resolve problems, while under tight deadlines and while maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with all project participants. "Basic knowledge of project planning, managing, organizing and status reporting. Experience "Two (2) or more years experience in a writing and communication position; Experience working on a project involving the deployment of business software to a large organization is a strong plus.
