Associate Brand Manager

Responsibilities:
-Assist in the communication, brand management and marketing of Dixie and Mardi GrasNapkins.
-Assist in the development and execution of annual brand plans.
-Conduct competitive analysis and reporting via syndicated data in order to make strategic recommendations.
-Gather relevant data from cross-functional teams to build required financial models, and apply that financial data to the development of new products, line extensions, product improvements and/or tactical sales executions.
-Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, line extensions, product improvements and/or tactical sales executions to advance the Dixie and Mardi GrasNapkin businesses.
- Manage advertising and consumer promotions budget.
Education:
- Bachelor'sdegree required.
- MBA preferred
Basic Qualifications:
-2 or more years of marketing experience.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
- While formal consumer packaged goods experience is not a requirement, the candidate should have an understanding of the basic concepts of brand positioning and segmentation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen) a plus.
- Accuracy when tracking and managing budgets.
- Ability to translate analysis into insights and solid strategic observations.
- Leadership and demonstrated project management skills in order to conduct product, packaging, design and creative execution.
- Basic accounting and economics familiarity necessary for understanding business P&L and value creation opportunities.
- Sense of urgency and high capacity for learning in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
