Black Belt II
Six Sigma Black Belt position reporting to an NCC Information Services Master Black Belt. Responsible for working with IS and/or Line of Business teams to complete Six Sigma projects that will improve customer facing or business process problems with measurable business value. Responsible for the mentoring and coaching of 5-10 green belts on the DMAIC/DFSS and/or Lean methodologies.
For BB candidates to be trained and certified after role start up, this position requires business process definition and process mapping experience. Experienced with data driven decisions used to influence a decision or set a direction within the work place. The position requires strong process and data analysis skills to drive Information Technology as well as Business decisions/direction. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to lead and influence all levels of the organization through data driven decision making. Experience in coaching or mentoring is required along with leadership and change agent skill sets.
For historically experienced Black Belts, this position requires end to end Six Sigma BB level experience with demonstrated proof of improvement through measurable data and several project completions. The position requires strong data analysis skills to drive Information Technology as well as Business decisions based on data. Must have thorough knowledge of Six Sigma process and tools. Historical completion of BB training along with demonstration of competency through completion of multiple DMAIC projects is required. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to lead and influence all levels of the organization through data driven decision making. Six Sigma coaching and mentoring is required along with leadership and change agent skill sets. In addition , demonstrated utilization of the full range of six sigma tools in resolution of business problems, Process Mapping, CTQ trees, Data Collection, FMEA, KJ Analysis, AHP, MSA, Pareto Charting, Design of Experiments, Control Charts and project planning, working knowledge of Minitab or other SPC software,
The qualified candidate is an enthusiastic self starter that has demonstrated the following skills and capabilities: delivers projects to completion with limited supervision, ability to work independently with project teams and sponsors, effective communicator to all levels, influences and has led teams through difficult or complex efforts, collaborates effectively at multiple levels of the organization, leads by example, trains, mentors and works in a team, ability to deliver training to internal NCC personal, has a basic understanding of Return On Investment and cost measure identification and is energetic with a passion for excellence.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Project or process management (for BB candidates to be trained in role)
Experience in National City information technology work space (for BB candidates to be trained in role)
BB level training completed (for historically experienced BB's)
Demonstrated delivery through entire lifecycle and completion of several BB level Six Sigma Projects with proven improvement through measurements (for historically experienced BB's)
