LexisNexis is looking for an intern interested in joining the Counsel to Counsel product marketing team approximately 25-35 hours a week for a semester's length of time. The internship may be extended based on business needs. We are seeking a college student. Majors which would best fit the internship include: Marketing, Public Relations and Communications. The internship is paid. An internship at LexisNexis gives you training and first-hand experience in brand management related to Martindale-Hubbell?s client development with corporate counsel and leading law firms. Our specific products, Counsel to Counsel forums and Counsel to Counsel magazine, will expose you to the product cycle and execution of product marketing. The experience is designed to be instructive, rewarding and challenging. Responsibilities: Conduct research, analyze marketing efforts and engage in support tasks as part of the Counsel to Counsel team; Interact directly with corporate counsel and internal teams to support upcoming Counsel to Counsel forums and magazine distributions; Respond to requests for information; Ensure adherence to the defined marketing process; Make arrangements for conference calls and meetings; Assemble established background materials, as directed; Review outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency; Other duties as assigned Qualifications 1. Good written and verbal communication skills. 2. Proficient using Microsoft Office?including Word, Excel and Outlook. 3. High Level of Initiative 4. Familiar with HTML 5. Skilled at updating Web content that reinforces the LexisNexis brand. 6. Ability to work and communicate with business users, product and project managers. 7. Commitment to quality deliverables; attention to detail. 8. Available to work 25 hours per week minimum during school quarters.
