For admission into the California Institute of Technology, students need a SAT score between 1480-1570 or an ACT score between 34-36. The Associate Director of Admissions, Ray Prado, says that students who apply should be engaged in both math and science. Cal Tech offers 25 majors and programs that are organized into strict academic divisions.
