What I mean is research the company you are trying to work for. The easiest way to do this is to go to their website and click on the "About Me" section. Here, you can find information about what the company's goals are, their mission statement, and any achievements worth noting. It's also a good idea to look into any events they may host, what companies they work with or for, and how they operate their business. All of these factors will help you gain more knowledge about the position you're applying for, and, therefore, make you more enthusiastic in your cover letter and interview.

Try to form some questions to ask during the interview from the materials you find on the website. Maybe you want to learn more about their goals as a company, and what they want you to accomplish if you get the job. Remember, being enthusiastic will make you a better candidate for the position because you will have a better attitude, and will be excited about future work you may be doing for that company.
