Final Entry of 2007
Well, this is it. 2007 is almost over, and a new year is on the way. For me, this year brought mixed emotions.
One one hand, I experienced joy in seeing two of my friends each get married; in one of the weddings, I was a groomsman. On the other hand, I experienced sadness when my grandmother passed away. Overall, it has been a good year because God has blessed me with life, health, and strength, as well as, good family and friends.
What about 2008? Don't forget it's a leap year, so that means 29 days in February. More importantly, Americans will elect the next president of our country. That reminds me; I need to start researching the candidates I may be voting for. My New Year's Resolutions are the following:
Get Reorganized-Clear out the clutter in my room and in my mind
Be a Better Listener-If you're not always talking, you might learn something
Concentrate on the Positive-Don't allow negative people or things to be a distraction in your life
Don't Talk About It, Be About It-Instead of telling other people what you will do, go ahead and do it
