Ultimate Career Goal?
You might be wondering why I used a question mark in my title. Well, it is simply because I don't have an ultimate career goal at the moment. I guess it is kind of like when you're in high school or college and someone asks the question: where do you see yourself in five to ten years? You might have a general idea, but not be exactly sure. As for me, I do have goals like everyone should. Some goals I have already accomplished such as earning my Associate Degree in Marketing and obtaining this writing internship. My short-term goals are getting an entry-level position in business and getting my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. I want to really get my foot in the door somewhere, and then I believe I will have a better idea of exactly where I want to go. For some people, it is about being better than everyone else at what they do. I just want to make sure I do what is best for me, and I will be happy. When I do decide what my ultimate career goal is, no doubt, I will let you know.

Why did you choose Marketing as your major? No doubt there's something about that subject area that appeals to you a great deal. I'd like to know what that attraction is and what skills or interests spur you to continue in that direction. I'd also like to know what sorts of things you've done in regard to being involved in marketing anything, whether for a charitable or social group, a business, or whatever. I'm especially interested because you have a goal of completing your Bachelor's in this area as well.
It appears your entry-level position in business will be in the Marketing Department of some company, whether large or small. There are all types of marketing and many ways of doing marketing. So I'd like to know where you see your specialty in that area.
Is there some person who is a specialist in marketing who has inspired you? If so, please talk about that person, their theories, how you became aware of them, who some of the other competing specialists are, and whether you see yourself following their principles in what you're doing today.
