???????????

What does that title mean solely consisting of question marks? How is that possible? Who are you? What am I doing?

Can anybody tell me what all of those above-mentioned sentences were?

And that one?

And that one too?

Yes, they're questions. Questions are good. Simple enough right. Okay, time to make this relevant. Whether you be in an interview or working for an employer - ask questions. Not only does this show that you are interested, it shows that you want to do whatever you're doing correctly.

You may not want to constantly ask questions because of the tiny voice in your head telling you that if you ask questions, then you'll appear dumb, uninformed, or any other self-depreciative words you can think of. Imagine this though, if you don't ask a question because you're not sure and you royally mess something up work-related because of that, then that's when the employer is going to place a big "You're stupid!" stamp on your forehead.

Asking questions can put you ahead of the game. If all the other people working around you are also cowering in fear about asking the executives or higher-ups questions, then the knowledge you can gain from asking questions can put you ahead of the game. It really causes you no pain to ask a question - go ahead and try.

Boss, I heard there was a job opening. Is that true?
What exactly do you mean by "Write a long report?"
How long has that seafood and mayonaise concoction been sitting in the sun? It looks spoiled.

So ask away. You can even start by asking me why on Earth question number three is there.

Matthew, you're such a thinker! And the sense of humor. What are we going to do with you? perhaps follow the advice of King Arthur (listen to the songs from "Camelot").

Interesting thing, I was just thinking about this subject about 1.5 hours ago as I trudged to a bus stop in order to make another appointment. I'm so glad *you* talked about it. And I'm so grateful you had the wisdom to include the caveat about not asking questions for the sake of asking questions and then doing oneself a *dis*service.

So sorry it's taken so long for me to check in on you.
