Specific Job Description
- We are looking for a Simulation Engineer for the visual simulation and operator training business at Riviera Beach.
- Technically the candidate should have a strong background in visual simulations, modeling, and gaming.
- An understanding of simulations underlying physics as well as visual graphics is necessary.
- This person should be current with both the latest technologies on the market as well as those under development.
- A strong background in mathematical physics modeling and collision detection as well as real-time physics engine interface coding knowledge is preferred. Requirements:
- Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- Considered career, or journey, level.
- Required skills Developing operator in the loop simulations and trainer systems.
- Integrating man-in-the-loop systems (controls simulation) with software.
- Requirements development/derivation/management experience in DOORS.
- Test plan, procedure writing, reports.
- System level simulation validation.
- Requirements testing.
- User manual creation.
- Requirements tracking.
- Systems analysis.
- Desired skills Realtime Physics engine interface coding knowledge.
- 3D coordinate transformation in 6DOF and quaternion experience.
- Developing operator in the loop simulations and trainer systems.
- Experience in interfacing and coding DirectX and OpenGL applications in Windows.
- Integrating man-in-the-loop systems (controls simulation) with software.
- Design and implementation of User Interfaces (GUI).
- Translate CAD package models to simulation based models.
