Synygy, the largest and most experienced provider of Sales Performance Management (SPM) Solutions, is seeking experienced sales professionals to join their growing sales team.
As an Account Executives, at Synygy, you will sell multi-million dollar, multi-year sales compensation and sales performance management solutions to executives in sales, sales operations, and finance at Fortune 1000 companies across a range of at Synygy’s world headquarters in Philadelphia, and traveling to visit prospective clients in their assigned geography when necessary, each Account Executive works on a sales team led by one of Synygy’s three Regional Vice Account Executive works with their Regional Vice President to coordinate the activities of the other members of the sales team and to leverage the business and technical experts within the Synygy organization to acquire new customers.
ResponsibilitiesSpecific responsibilities of the Account Executive include: n
- Work with the RVP to segment the target accounts into those that will be worked by the AE and those that will be worked by the inside salesperson
- Cold call each week into the assigned target accounts to identify opportunities and develop relationships with Director level and above contacts across multiple departments
- Make introductory presentations to executives and managers at assigned target accounts and those accounts where an inside salesperson has uncovered a potential opportunity
- Work with the RVP to strategize and plan each opportunity in the sales pipeline
- Follow the Synygy selling process and document progress with each qualified opportunity in Synygy’s sales force automation system
PrerequisitesThe Account Executive must have:
- Minimum of five years experience selling $500,000+ solutions to the top executives at Fortune 1000 companies
- Experience selling software-as-a-service or professional services for a subscription fee a plus
- Enjoyment in prospecting and building a funnel of opportunitiesn
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- A history of diligently applying strategic selling skills (Prime Solution, Miller Heiman, TAS, Holden, etc.)
- Solid experience using opportunity management software such as ;
- Solid experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- a BA or BS degree (preferably in a technical degree); MBA a plus
