Position Summary: Sells Cox services door-to-door in assigned new home communities, existing single-family home remarket neighborhoods and multi-family communities. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with new home sales and builder construction staff to promote Cox services and generate opportunities. Audits Cox Cable Distribution system in order to identify occurrences of unauthorized usage and sales opportunities. Aggressively targets Satellite customers for the purpose of acquiring them as customers. Responsible for some basic cable installs and disconnects.

Organizational Structure
Position reports to:
Direct Sales Manager
Primary Responsibilities/Tasks - Essential Functions
Complies with all written processes and procedures
Contacts potential customers to present services, calls in orders for installation scheduling and performs some installations
Sells all Cox Communications services door-to-door in assigned territory
Sells upgrades to existing customer in order to increase product penetration
Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with sales and construction staff in communities to follow up with potential customers and to generate opportunities
Maintains sales literature
Maintains personal sales records
Partners with audit team and monitors and audits CATV distribution system within assigned territory to reduce and eliminate theft of service
Aggressively target Satellite customers for the purpose of acquiring them as customers
Makes attempt to save customers from disconnecting service and upgrades when possible
Disconnects cable service at tap for non-customers
Prepares territory activity reports for management review as requested
Partners with Coordinator on generation of builder and territory reports
Partners with Residential and MDU AE¿S to generate leads
Participates in special projects and events as needed
Responsible for ethical sales practices and maintaining a professional image![]()
Salary commensurate with experience
