« Job Seekers: Four Steps for Making Yourself "Findable" | Main | Entry Level Cover Letters Are Not A Waste of Words! »

Dear Mr. or Ms. Who?

Found the perfect job? Ready to create your cover letter? Can't find the name of the person to address on your cover letter?

Don't give up. This is more important than you think.

Heather Eagar (at HeatherEagar.com) has a nice post (HERE) about what to do when you need to craft the perfect cover letter and can't find the name of the person to address on your letter.

She offers up some great ideas and even links to a site that will help you develop an "amazing" cover letter in less than 3.5 minutes (sounds too good to be true, but hey, put it to the test).

I've looked at a few thousand cover letters in the past 10 years. My opinion? Most people whip through them as fast as they can because they are certain it's not as important as their resume.

Think again,
