IT Expanding Demand, Expanding Salaries

Software developers, Health IT, and Security Cleared IT are in high demand. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projected that from 2008 to 2018 Computer Software Engineers 283,000 jobs will be added. This adds to the competition for talent.
Along with the increased competition for IT talent, are increased salaries, according to the 17th annual Redmond Salary Survey. Top Earners Amongst 2011 Grads: Finance Major Working for Banks Started at $67,700
February 16, 2012 by Steven RothbergTop pay among Class of 2011 bachelor’s degree graduates went to finance majors landing financial manager positions with banks, according to a report published by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
NACE’s Winter 2012 Salary Survey shows that the average starting salary for these graduates in this position and industry was $67,700. Continue Reading
