Everyone needs to make a certain amount of money to pay their mortgage, car payment, insurance, etc When you are interviewing for a job, you should never be the one to bring up salary. But you should go into the interview with a good idea of what the position pays. You can research salary at www.bis.gov/oco. However, if the interviewer brings it up, answer his or her questions honestly. You may find that the salary is not sufficient for your needs or for the job you are being asked to do.
